Steven Shore

STEVEN SHORE is a 2-time Emmy Award-winning Producer for his work with Turner Entertainment's My Braves Promotional Campaigns featuring Travis Tritt (in 2005), and MC HAMMER (in 2006).  He is also an award-winning songwriter with a Hollywood Jubilee Album Award and a Nashville International Song Writing Competition Directors Award to his credit for his composition - He Brings Me Roses, with Eric Vetro.   Another of their collaborations - The Wish Song - is currently included on the Warner Bros./Rhino Records compilation CD - UNEXPECTED DREAMS: Songs From the Stars, performed by Hairspray’s Tony Award-winning star Marissa Jaret Winokur and originally composed for Samantha Samuels’ KABARET FOR KIDS. Beginning his career in the arts as a singer/songwriter, he transitioned into the business side of the arts becoming an agent with Fred Lawrence & Associates, and later with ICM (International Creative Management). Clients included The Manhattan Transfer, Mandy Patinkin, Betty Buckley, Anne Murray, Frankie Valli, Toni Basil, Todd Thicke, and Alan Thicke, among others.

His own Personal Management company evolved from these relationships as he developed projects with Alan Thicke (Growing Pains, Hope & Gloria);  Enrico Colantoni (Just Shoot Me; Galaxy Quest; Veronica Mars);  Toni Basil (Singer/ Dancer/ Actress/Choreographer - Mickey, Bette Midler);  Todd Thicke (Co-Executive Producer - America’s Funniest Home Videos);  and Jim Vukovich (Hairspray).

As a producer, his favorite projects include a stage version of Macbeth starring Colantoni, and ABC’s The Alan Thicke Show.  He served as Co-Producer of Talkzone - a weekly syndicated radio program developing Youth-Outreach themes encompassing Crime, AIDS and Self-Image. Hosted by Alan Thicke and Mindy Cohn (The Facts of Life), guest appearances included Jason Priestly, Tom Arnold, and Bob Saget.

As a Talent Producer, he has overseen television series for Sony Game Show Network, Canada’s Global Television Network, and Northbridge Productions and live projects ranging from Great Performances - a concert series serving Northern California theater-goers with such shows as Shirley Jones & Marty Ingels in Love Letters, Debbie Reynolds In Concert, and Jack Jones’ Broadway Tribute to An Evening on Ice - a Variety Show to benefit International Juvenile Diabetes Foundation featuring Sheena Easton, Wayne Gretzky, Kenny Loggins, Dudley Moore, Joan Rivers, Andy Williams, and hosted by Alan Thicke.

Other projects include Turner South Network’s MY SOUTH promotional campaign featuring such talent as Eric Roberts, Mary Steenburgen, Samuel L. Jackson, Tiffani Thiessen, Mimi Rogers, Nancy O'Dell, and Thomas Gibson.

Remaining faithful to the creative side of the arts throughout, he has enjoyed a long-standing songwriting partnership with Eric Vetro.  Collaboratively with Vetro, John R. Burr, and with his own efforts, he has contributed countless compositions to Samantha Samuels’ live shows, and to her All Dressed Up, Simply Sam, and Kabaret for Kids recordings. Their musical play Person to Person featured Vetro/Shore songs, starred Samuels in a tour-de-force triple-character role, and boasted a book written by all three. The theatrical revue, Something To Shout About was based on The Music and Lyrics of Eric Vetro & Steven Shore, and they contributed two songs to the new musical - Duets, starring Patrick Cassidy and Jason Graae.
